Just got off the Allure 4/22/2024 and we were definitely impressed, it is a beautiful ship and looks great!!!! Loved it!

The cabins are dated, as is the carpeting in the hallways and stairways. The buffet area needs to be modernized and expanded. I'm sure there are many other updates that can be made to modernize the ship, but it has great bones, so a few minor updates I mentioned would go a long way.

It’s getting one. March 2025. Adding Mason Jar, Playmakers, Ultimate Abyss, updated pools and deck and will resemble Utopia and many more changes.

Just got off Friday. Gorgeous Ship. I think for the most part it doesn't need a ton of upgrades, as it has all the quintessential features of a cruise ship and has a lot to offer for guests. I would say the elevators definitely either a tech upgrade or AC. Probably also an update with their ice cream machines, seemed as last day of the cruise it wasn't keeping the ice cream as frozen(still good but it wasn't as set as you want soft serve to be), I'd say the only other updates would be the sports bar/where they do karaoke. It is a great space but then when there are sporting events going on, and there is karaoke being performed at the same time and there being no other sports bar on the ship it makes it very difficult to watch your favorite sports teams. This leads me into my final thing, stateroom television doesn't get any of the main broadcasting channels such as ABC, NBC, etc you know what I mean. Like I said for the most part these are minor upgrades that I think can be done fairly quickly and also be cost-saving as well.

Allure was due for an overhaul in 2020 like Oasis got, but obviously that didn't happen, so who knows, maybe when the next ship comes out they can pull Allure in for the overhaul. Crazy it's already 14 years old. I'll be sailing on her in June.

Yes it needs the 2 purple slides on the back and the 3 slides in the center of the ship.
