Correction: Ryan Day’s real-time response at the podium was in response to Smith finally submitting his paperwork, after he announced. There was a delay which is why Day said “it’s real now?”

Whoever we get in the 1st round of the College Football Playoffs- Jeremiah Smith needs to be targeted at least 12 times in that game. We need to be A LOT more aggressive and I hope the loss to TTUN is a BIG wake up call. The play calling on Saturday was AWFUL. I’m specifically calling out Coach Day & Kelly.

I’m a huge Buckeye fan and I’m not one to talk negatively about our Coaching Staff/Players but the play calling on Saturday was simply unacceptable. We’ve said ALL SEASON LONG “NATTY OR BUST” This FOOTBALL ROSTER was too athletic & talented to go out like this. 2 Goals will no longer be achievable. We still can accomplish 1 of those goals which is WINNING THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP..

For The Ohio State Football Program there are 3 Goals every year:

1.) Beat TTUN
2.) Win the BIG 10 Championship
3.) Win the National Championship

We’re really sitting here talking about how good this kid was in peewee football?? Michigan’s pregame story was about how the starting quarterback beat cancer a few years ago and this is the best the buckeyes could come up with? Bro got cut from peewee football??

Im Ryan DAY and I have Smith on my team, but I am out to prove that we can run up the middle every play against Michigan and score 10 points the whole game... Come on Ryan, you are the too conservative John Cooper like point prover that is the Master Choker...

Another talented WR from OSU who will leave his alma matter a loser to Michigan.

they try to make athletes seem like they have this interesting or sad story when in reality they were that guy their whole life. Cut at 7 years old? Wow so sad and interesting

Great story but why tOSU? It's no accident that tOSU gets the #1 WR in nearly every recruiting class from all over the nation. tOSU just spends more. Money determines where these players play and which teams win. Glad to see hard work "pay off, " but would like to see great players remain leaders in their respective communities instead of following dollars across the country. College football needs a cap on blue chip ratio to prevent one team from buying the best receiving talent year after year.

He’ll be in the portal in the off-season and go to Florida so he can catch passes from DJ Lagway
