It is strange how i feel when i ever listen to this song. I am 49 now and I know what it feels like not to be young anymore. Time has passed and so many sad memories in my soul. Yeahh we have to celebrate the present but the past made a hole in our hearts. I am glad i can see this guy is still alive. No one can describe the sensation of being an adult but him.

My husband and I ran into Marian in the hotel lobby where were staying across the street from the concert venue in Dinslaken before his concert in August of this year. I asked if he was Marian and he said “yes” he was so polite. We told him we came all of the way from the USA to see him and Alphaville. He asked us what we planned to do in Germany, how we liked it there and other questions about ourselves. Most celebrities probably wouldn’t do that. He also allowed my husband to take a picture of me with him. We have loved the band since our youth and we are in our late 50’s now. He is a very kind man and a real class act. We will always remember that wonderful night.
