Peter shares some speculative ideas on the subject. He delivers a very interesting view on sexuality and where society might be heading in terms of evolution of human culture pertaining to the acceptance of LGBT people.

This is a very interesting approach to the matter. Certainly western society is becoming more open to accept homosexuality as a human condition. I am happy with the secularity of the State institutions that are putting aside religious believes to rule those who doesn't beleave in the existence of God and don't want to be obliged to do what others beleave right, just because of their personal religion demands so.

Social Contagion is what this video is about. Society changes and so people adapt or evolve. There are two broad ways to operate social constructs. First by a standard or preferred or best practices that protect and guide - community/God/other is the center. (this could be religious, humanistic and/or politically driven). Second, by individual choice or freedom to express without judgement or rule - self is the center. There is a pendulum that swings from side to side in each and every generation and in every country, the need for a balance of a standard with freedom to express or opinion. It just is in our current circumstance (Western society) we are high on the side of individual choice is the rule and power, without a standard or rule. Each extreme will lead to certain outcomes - the next generations will live with the outcome and possibly cause a swing the other way.
