I have made dozens of videos about the Panasonic Lumix G9 and camera techniques. Now after numerous requests I share my first video about image editing using Adobe Camera Raw / Photoshop 2021. In this video I walk-and-talk you through editing this female Red Backed Fairy Wren photo, from opening the original file to saving the finished version ready to share. Great video Andrew. Clearly spoken, easy to understand and I made it right through to the end.

Great vidéo Andrews and thanks for explanation.
The most unobvious choice for me is the clipping of the picture.
my choice should be to suppress green Leaf on right bottom.
But it is my own idea to have the bord less in the centre.
Thank toi toi continue this serie of vidéos.
Sorry for french orthographic correction...

I didn’t know I was a rare soul! 😉 Enjoyed this and learned from it. Would love to see you process that magnificent lightening shot in your intro, especially re: noise reduction with G9. Thanks and keep up the great work! 🙏

Thanks that was helpful, as another commenter said I also use DXO but most of the principles are the same. Having only recently got into editing my photos as RAW files, I need to work out a way of storing and organising them as well as some kind of workflow, so that might be an interesting subject for a video.

Hello Andrew, . This is good! Your measured teaching style and minimalist approach to processing is a pleasure to watch and hear.. Nice to see you caught the little bird in the middle of its lunch! Just one question though: what do you think of adding a catch light to the eye...or would that be a bit phony?

Well done Andrew
I'll give this a shot it's allot less than I would normally do, just recently I was told that some of my shots are over saturated, so I will be trying your work flow.
Many Thanks 👍

Nice job! I use DXO photolab for my workflow, but this is still useful. The only thing I would add is noise reduction. I find photolab 4s NR allows me to shoot at higher ISO/shutter speeds. I assume Adobe PS's NR is similar if not identical.

Can you also make a kind of photography vlog how you photograph the animals with the Panasonic G9 Leica 100-400 mm

Wonderful lesson. I don’t think you left out anything important or included anything not crucial to the process. As usual, your low keyed manner is excellent for the learner. Please include other edits from time to time.

Loved your videos since I bought G9 a few months ago.l know you can also do limited editing with a raw file in camera.
Could you tell me if I took a raw photo then changed it to jpeg in camera, would the quality of the jpeg be as good as if I had taken original
Photo in jpeg.Hope this makes sense to you

I forgot to ask: do you Use the G9 for most of your photography or for only special types of photography like birds? Thanks.
