Thank you. You have answered a question I been trying to find an answer to for a while. About the selveges not matching up on some knit fabric. I usually fold, smooth out my knit fabric, then cut....and have been successful. But recently I made a pair of pants that the seams twisted on the legs towards the front... so it’s had me trying to find the reason for this. I was told to cut the pattern pieces out on a single layer of fabric (not foled) and measure from the selvage edges to the grain line of the pattern. I’m just not sure about doing this now knowing that selvege edges can be distorted. Just wondering what your thoughts are about this?
