In this Microsoft Project 2019 tutorial, we look at how to link tasks in Project and start creating project dependencies. For example, we can set our project so that a new task cannot start until a number of other tasks are completed in your project.

This is a really important part of MS Project. Once you have mastered dependencies your project really starts to take shape.

As we create these tasks and sub-tasks we are introduced to the concept of levels in MS Project.

You have linked task 12 and 13 in the wrong direction (13:39). You should have selected task 12 first, then selected task 13 and then created the link. As you have done it, task 13 needs to start before task 12, which is not correct. It should be 12SS+5 days in the dependency column of Task 13. Task 12 starts on 3/8/19 and task 13 will then start on 3/15/19 (5 days later). Not on 3/1/19 as in your example. Hope it makes sense!
