Pole dancing is legitimately DIFFICULT. I say if a wife wants to learn to do that (assuming she’s learning in an all female class/environment), and is “performing” for her husband???? GET IT, GIRL!!

Also, regarding makeup, etc. Is it inherently vanity? No. Can it be? Yep! Is it also self-care, taking care of your temple (to a certain extent), improving your mental health, being grateful for what God gave you and wanting to present your best self? Absolutely! If you’re more concerned about what you look like on the outside and not the inside, if the time you spend doing hair, makeup, nails, etc causes a hindrance in the time you’re spending with God and doing things to further him, then I’d suggest you pause and re-assess your priorities and get them back in line. But your girl over here loves skincare, makeup, etc, but I also realize that is NOT what TRULY matters, I just enjoy taking care of myself.

As someone who has taken a pole dancing class, it is very much a way for women to engage in their own body positivity and self love that does not always have to do with men. Just putting that out there. It is not just about male focused sensuality for women especially now.
