The apparel industry is experiencing a “transparency gap” where the majority of the top 100 apparel brands have set 100% sustainable fiber targets by 2022-2025. However, less than 5% of brands can track their garment portfolio back to fiber. We will review some of the emerging data protocols for digital traceability.
