Oh I remember how me and my bestie used to make pillow forts in a corner or being supported by a table either at my house or her house 🖐🏻 I remember we would grab snack and stuff them in the fort and close the pillow gates and chill inside ! How cozy it was ! Good old days

Oh no😂 one time my bestie and I stole the “big stones” from the front of this ladies house, to throw in the frozen canal and break the ice. We had a great time! Two hours later my mum calls me back in going crazy that someone’s £500 of “decorative stones” were dumped in the canal, and she wanted reimbursing. Oops! We genuinely didn’t know 😂😂😂

This throws me back, to when we kept building gang huts out of old wood and bricks we found in the trees in the park, we were told not to come home till we were shouted for dinner, or if it was after dinner the second the street lights started coming on, if we were late we would get our backsides tanned and grounded for a week, and if we got up to no good and got into trouble, we got our backsides tanned red raw with the belt and grounded for a month. Some of the stuff the 'big ones' managed to convince us was definately grounded for a month worthy, was sent out to get my brother, and my mums boyfriends daughter for dinner, went round to the park and asked a couple of my friends where they were, they said round the back of the hotel with the big ones, playing with matches, thought great fun, walked round with them, and as we were turning the corner all the kids that were back there came flying round the corner screaming run for it, while knocking the 3 of us over (we were 9 man!) next thing we know, the staff of the hotel have us round the hoods of our hoodies and dragging us through the back door of the hotel calling us little shits and we are in sooo much trouble when the police get here, the usual schtick, we were shoved into an office and told to sit and dont move or it will be worse on us, 3 nine year old girls that had nothing to do with whatever happened were getting the blame for the bin the big ones had set fire too out the back of the hotel, we were scared as hell and when the police eventually turned up and asked us some questions, we were honest and said, I was only looking for my little brother and my mums boyfriends daughter as it was dinner time, we had nothing to do with any fire, the police said we know, we looked at the cctv first before coming in here, the staff shouldnt have touched you, but we do need to take you 3 home though and explain what happened, saw the huge group of big ones on the 10 second drive from the hotel to my house, as my house was closest I was dropped off first, the police explained we were grabbed as we were coming round the corner after being knocked over by a large group of kids running away after setting fire to a bin out the back of the hotel, mum said thank you for bringing her home, and the second that police car pulled away I got my backside beat black and blue, grounded for a month and sent to bed without any dinner, while my brother and mums boyfriends daughter never faced any of the concequences to actually being involved in setting fire to the bin (I was the family scape goat anything remotely bad happened I was beat and grounded while my brother got away with everything) that month of grounding and beatings got me addicted to reading books and pretending I was in that world too, books were and still are my escape
