Autumn Budget: Jeremy Hunt announces UK now in recession

Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt has confirmed that the UK is now in a state of economic recession.

His comments came during his Autumn Budget statement on Thursday (17 November).

I bet Sunak and Hunt ... and their wives and families... don't have to worry about whether they can afford to put the heating on before they get pneumonia or heat a can of value soup to get some nourishment. No Christmas presents or trips out for all of us working class and lower middle classes this year and probably not next year either... even if our jobs last....and that will be doubtful in this economic climate to come.
