Observational Documentary Practice With Sony FX6 Cinema Camera

Spent some time last weekend with my pops and he was kind enough to let me film some of his day. We shot some observational documentary footage and I practiced framing and composition. Gear I used for this is below.

Looks nice, too bad that YouTube compresses the shadows so heavily, tho. I would suggest exporting 1080p videos with a continous bitrate of 40. Definitely helps with the YouTube compression.

As someone who is also interested in shooting docs, this has motivated me to just go out and practice composition with my camera using the surroundings available to me. Thanks for this!

I love the sequence. The angles you chose was really engaging . Plus those dark scenes came out great !
