I Rode The NEW Brightline Train From Orlando To Miami For My Cruise | Discussing My New Home

It's my first time going on the new Brightline Train from Orlando to Miami Station for my birthday cruise on Virgin Voyages! My experience was a little different this time but just as fun!

How calming it seems on the trip.! On a plane, there are no viable views (trees and landmarks vs clouds). On the train you can walk around, have a complete conversation without that rounding/sound suppression noise on the plane - where it’s difficult to hear the person sitting right next to you. And they don’t seem to be disturbing anyone as they have conversation.The working space as performed by Jo Jo and Kyle seems to be easy and comfortable. Brightline, beyond the cost seems like a much better choice than flying.

Remember, while the train has a longer *Travel*, the airport has a long time upfront for parking, security, TSA, etc etc before you even take a seat and they shut the doors. And bringing your own food/booze/sodas/beer is fine with most trainlines. (within reason)..even ice.

Arrive 1 hour before flight + 1 hour flight + 15/20 minutes deboarding + 20 minutes at baggage claim (optional) + 20 minutes to traverse from MIA airport to downtown Miami where Brightline Miami Central is already conveniently located = ~2 hours 40 minutes - 3 hours. Brightline Orlando to Miami 3 hours 25 minutes. I'll take the extra time and far higher levels of space, comfort, & amenities offered by the train. 😎

The Brightline looks to be a good way to avoid the highway hogs and relax in comfort. A friend and I took AMTRAK from Santa Ana, CA to San Diego, CA to catch a Royal Caribbean cruise a few years ago. The Train was a great way to get down there. From the train station to the ship: Two blocks. Good for Brightline in offering the traveling public an alternate way of 'getting there.'🚆

Happy birthday Jojo. 🎂 In celebration of you I went back to the beginning of your journey to see how you started your vlogs. I could relate to it because I'm from Rhode Island and I'm now living in Orlando and my daughter used to dance at the Broadway dance center. You're a great dancer. The best dance there. It's a tough way to make a living tho. Vlogging was a good choice you get to go everywhere. You might even know her she danced there at the same time you did. She stopped during 2020 because of covid they were closed for so long. Loved your Mickey Vans!!

You can receive a lower price fair on the train if you keep checking on their website or sign up with your email since three times I was able to receive a lower fare such as $22 each way or $39 each way all the way from Orlando to Miami

It may take only 50 minutes by plane and three hours from Orlando to Miami however it can take an hour to an hour and a half just to go through security going through Orlando airport since there’s so many people going at the same time too many different planes and growing on the train there’s only one train leaving every 30 minutes or an hour.
