In college I had a class voice instructor tell me I had the best natural voice she had heard in 50 years of teaching music. She tried hard to get me to become a professional singer. Unfortunately I had to pass on it to help others. So when I hear great voices like this I unfortunately have mixed emotions. I love the music, but it is so depressing because I always wanted to entertain people like this. I had to give up the dream. I was even invited to join the division choir when I was in the Army but I was a combat soldier with a critical short MOS and always facing deployment. With all of this, I don't regret missing it. I saved lives, in combat and out. Tradeoffs had to happen.
