I've purchased a few things from BangGood - and without fail every one of them came with power supplies that were shock/fire hazards, never mind UL certification.

Those old hakko 888D were great but the T12 stuff kills them. I'd hate to have t12 that has collar. I wish these had a port that you could use a hall sensor instead of the shake sensor. That way it can just go to sleep every time it's in the holder.

Great video Jeff. But do yourself a favor. Just pick up a Quick. They are pretty cheap and have superior power when compared to these cheaper chinese stations. I upgraded my old Ayoue to a Quick and have been very happy ever since.

I got a very cheap knock off air station and soldering station about a year ago. It had 120vac stickers on it. I have to say, the air station works very well and the soldering station uses Standard T12 tips. I’ve learned how to SMD solder now and this air station/handle works really well.
I watched with great interest regarding the air handle (which looks just like mine) and the control unit.
Let us know how it works out. I’m very curious as to how quickly you cans get the correct heating element. Thanks!!

Well, Jeff after watching this review.... it was good at first... then went sour, i hope you can get recourse for getting the right replacement one with the correct heating temps? I look forward to next video for the update review!! Maybe modifications?? Either way, I'll watch it!

I bought just the hot air station from the official manufacturer store in aliexpress a couple of hours before seeing your video contacted to confirm that it was the 110v version because it was in the description and they told me that it was the 220v. I asked if they have the 110v handle if it will work

Why didn't you send it back, Is it a freebee?
Yes the chassis should be earthed, a rather ' Half baked ' product lol.
