It debuted on Spotify with over 25mill, it keeps making history on Spotify. It's currently no 1 in most countries on itunes and apple music and it just came out 3 days ago, it also may debut with a top ten on billboard. it certainly won't sell more than planet her but I doubt it would flop that bad .... let's see by the end of the week

…this is a weird vid to me. Personally I don’t need my artist to adore me. If I like the music, I’m here for the music. I don’t care if she doesn’t want me to call myself by some fan name or if she calls out parasocial fans. I don’t care what she’s doing as long as she isn’t inflicting harm or doing something grave to someone. Like if she murders someone Imma have an issue. If she says: mind your business and don’t be obsessed with me because I sure as ain’t obsessed with you Imma just go “bet. Nice music homie Imma go get myself a choco bar” And move on with my life. Because again it’s the music not Doja I’m interested in.

And let’s talk about the sales, while 51% less than planet her she is still being favored to be in the top ten. If that stays true it will be her third consecutive top ten. Not bad for someone who doesn’t seem all that bothered on if her fans care or not for her. She ain’t hurting from this. The only people mad at the people I’m seeing in the comments here. If you say “but shouldn’t an artist appreciate their fans?” Then yeah I guess. But appreciating people like their stuff and adoring their fans are two different things and if it bothers you she wants to not be an ideal idol than it’s fine that you turn away. But people who love her music will still buy it and I think what we should be saying is that despite her purposely lowering her fan base, she seems to be doing pretty well. That’s kinda impressive when put that way.😅
