After many years of working together, BRP has now brought the LYNX brand to North America. LYNX has a long history of producing high quality durable sleds since 1967. They started using ROTAX engines later on, and then joined forces with BRP in the 80s and 90s. Today LYNX is a fully owned part of the BRP family.

The first PPs-style tracks were already in use in Lynx race sleds in the 80s. In the 90s, the toughest sports sleds had a Racing track, which was very close to the pps, but shorter flexible.
