🤨 When we ask tango followers why they don’t learn about musicality, they tell us “it’s the leader who creates the musicality… there’s nothing I can do”.

And we get it.

When you’re a follower, it’s easy to feel disempowered, and not know how to express yourself when dancing or influence your partner.

Even though you know, deep down, that there is more you could do and add to the dance! 💃

This is exactly where I – Anne – was in the early stages of my tango journey. 🙋‍♀️

But actually, learning about tango musicality is one of the most empowering things you can do as a follower.

✅ Indeed, it helps you understand when and how you can influence your partner.

✅ It also tells you how your partner is trying to link the movements to the music, so you can truly move as one with them.

✅ And, it gives you the time and space to add decorations if you want to.

🌟 In short, it allows you to make decisions and express yourself (aka “have more fun” ;)) in your dancing!
