While being a famous actor might be most people’s idea of a dream job, it’s not for everyone. Excruciatingly long hours, complete loss of anonymity, and the harsh glare of media attention all take their toll, and not everyone can stick it out. Whether because of personal tragedy, being fed up with the whole business, or sometimes just nobody wanting to watch you anymore, oof, occasionally celebrities just walk away from acting altogether. I’m Nostalgic Nick for Doyouremember, and today we’re going to be looking at some of the biggest stars who quit the Hollywood rat race to work normal jobs. Be sure to hit the thumbs up and subscribe to our channel, but now let’s get to the quitters! Just Kidding.

The Twist became immensely popular because it was much easier to dance to than the harder Rock and Roll. You could learn to twist on the first try and then you could make up your own movements. C'mon let's twist again!

When I was young, I taught my mother’s best friend to twist. Little did we know, that I would give her the mumps, too. It was fun…

There are also other 1960s dance too, like the Philly dog, the monkey, the swim, boogaloo, the watusi, and the jerk. Also the horse, and tighten up. And of course the Harlem shuffle.

Love this memory lane. I too danced to the music during these revolutionary times. Kudos for bringing these times forward.

I was just a little young to remember these songs when they were released. Luckily I had a brother & sister several years older than me & they still played them & we all danced!!!
