Check out his part in 'The Expanse', not a lead but still profound and he allegedly enjoyed it so much that he asked to come back for some more episodes after the originally intended arc was supposed to be over. He does elevate any show he appears in.

I second Seth re: the Terror. It blends horror and historical fiction beautifully (based on a true story, the Franklin Expedition), it's visually stunning, and you have a vague feeling of dread as you watch it. Do yourself a favor if you haven't seen it.
Also, Jared is always awesome, but nobody ever talks about his out of this world turn as Professor Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes 2.

This man is one of my favorite actors and one of the most talented in the industry to be honest. When actors are complete opposites of who they portray is how it really reels me in. And Jared always seems to be chipper, playful and funny. QUITE the contrast to most of the characters he portrays

Having been out of the loop, I still recognize him as David Robert Jones from Fringe. Great actor!
