Johnny Cash - Anillo De Fuego (Rare Version)

Johnny Cash overdubbed his hit song in Spanish on September 4, 1963 and it was released as an EP that same year. What most fans don't know is that the original vinyl version has never been released on CD. Bear Family used an undocumented, alternate dub on their sets. You can compare the two and clearly hear Cash hesitating on different words. Just listen to the last stanza where Cash sings "Con intenso ardor y me devoraban" on the CD, but seems to insert a syllable "Con intenso ardor y me EB devoraban" on vinyl releases.

Never knew he did Spanish version of this. I know he also recorded a German version of “I Walk the Line”. Interestingly enough, he was actually fluent in Swedish too.
