Hi all I used too fish the trent many years ago, 50 years infact, luncheon meat an a strip of grass to keep it on my hook, lots of big eels also on the lob worms Attenborough area night fishing the whole week end then on to the canals in long eaten area for chub an pike on the spinner, I miss my fishing up north now an it's a dying hobby hear a awaste of time fishing for stockies

When the water is up and couloured i tend to reduce my hook length down to 18". And absolutely ram the feeder so some stays in there. Works a treat
