ARKK is a great investment, if you’re looking for record negative returns

Experienced long term investors know that the best time to buy and accumulate is during times when a stock/asset/etf is being FUD’d to death and people are bad mouthing and/or ignoring it… buy, accumulate, and hold.

What bothers me about investing is what Josh explained. It should be about conviction, however someone chooses to value a company. But it is more about trends, rotations, cycles, and timing. It means you could select very wisely, but what matters is timing. And timing is not investing, its just playing at an insider’s game.

Cathie has owned Draftkings since the SPAC. It became famous on Reddit because she bought it, not the other way around. Same with most of the stocks ARK owns. ARK just follows their research and doesn't care what anyone else does or thinks.

He doesn't realize that the world is talking about these companies because Ark has purchased them, not the other way around

ARKK will always have tremendous volatility mostly because it's mostly early-stage technologies which are highly sensitive to market sentiment. 'm willing to bet she has the entire next generation of FAANG in her ETF.

Every $1 you invest today is a little bit of time that you buy back in the future, the more you invest, the more free time you can afford in the future, having time and the freedom to choose what to do are the ultimate investing goal

2:48 And CNBC did it again here. Here he said "normally I would buy the dip [on ARKK], and he went on to explain precisely why he wouldn't buy the dip here because meme stocks. Cmon guys, he didn't say "I would buy the dip."

So I’m going to pay her a percentage to manage an ETF where she makes money regardless of whether the fund goes up or down. No thank you. I can just buy the companies on my own.

When does Josh say he'd buy the dip? Caption's misleading

Buy the dip from extremely overpriced to overpriced 👍

ARKK is the easiest way to short the most over priced segment of the market. Even after the big decline.

CNBC has been bashing Cathie endlessly since her peak... PERIOD... They / all hedge funds are *naked* shorting against her... thus the little guy...

Basic change is higher interest rate. At lower interest rates, these non profit making companies can survive.
But at higher interest rates, some of these companies may not survive and so its stock value decreases.
On the other hand, proven bigh tech companies like Apple and Microsoft are less influenced of interest rate
changes since these companies are making huge profits.
In conclusion, small tech companies like Zoom and Palantir were in bubble and big tech companies like Apple
and Google were not in bubble. Market says so..

Retails don't usually understand the risk concept. They think risk gets lower as stock price gets higher. This is why they are always piled up in certain stocks.

I've finally given up on ARKK. It's been going down for a long time and it was painful to watch every day.

I think Josh is right on this, if you're a short-term trader Ark is not for you, if you're thinking big picture a long term. People doubted Google, Amazon, Apple Facebook look at the business news around that time when they were just starting out people are saying the same things things never change just the names change.
