I’ve never come out of a John Wick movie thinking, “That should win some Oscars.” But John Wick Chapter 4 had some AMAZING set designs, incredible sound, and beautiful cinematography. Really wish there was a category for choreography/stunts.

Chapter 4 was extremely flavorful, pays homage to several classic film styles, highly artistic, and with Adrenaline inducing action choreography. Can’t wait to see it 3 more times in theaters.

You rarely see a 4th film being the best in the franchise, But John wick 4 is probably the greatest action movie of all time, Raid 2 is definitely a close 2nd

No one ever talks about chapter 2 but imo it should #2 on the ranking. It set off the main storyline, so to say that it had no plot is an absolute insult.

So hyped for Chapter 4. Right now it’s like 1, 3, and then 2 for me, but overall really enjoyed them all. Also Austin, when you gonna rank the Scream movies?

To me, John Wick 4 was kinda rushed in terms of it's story and the action scenes, while amazing in it's own right, (I feel even with new characters) they kinda re-treaded the same action as before.

With John Wick 3, the action was fresh compared to the 2 previous films. It really felt like John struggled and was fighting for his life without much bullets in it's opening fight scenes. Plus, with the stakes getting higher towards the end, fighting those armored dudes and seeing the surprise on John's face after how many bullets it took to take them down was just perfection.

Don't get me wrong though, there's not a single bad John Wick film. It's just preference. John Wick 4 was amazing. Longer fight scenes. Higher struggles for more than John. More characters. It just felt rushed. And I heard it was supposed to be 3 hours and 45 minutes long at first. Then they cut it down. It feel that made it seem rushed in my opinion.

I personally rank chapter 2 the highest in terms of narrative the story was simple yet very linear and I think that’s what’s needed with action movies to keep attention to what the movie is primarily about. Action…

I agree with this ranking. Chapter 4 was really incredible!

I remember in 2014 how John Wick was just a film I went to see cus I had nothing better to do. Keanu Reeves at the time wasn’t exactly a sign of quality and the ads i’d seen looked generic, and holy shit I think this was the most pleasantly surprised I’ve ever been by a movie. I told everyone I knew to go see it, I dragged my friends to go see it, ended up seeing it four times in theaters
