🇦🇺 Albury, NSW (13-Nov-2023)

I usually stop overnight in Albury when driving from Port Macquarie to Melbourne - it's about 10hrs on the first day and then an easy 3½hrs into Melbourne the following.

The video starts with arriving in Albury (just taken one of the M31 Hume Hwy exits), then me wandering around the quiet Monday evening streets to get dinner, then going for a drive around Albury the following day before continuing on the Hume Hwy to Melbourne.

Albury is a beautiful country town on the NSW-Victoria border ... Wodonga is just over the border.

I tried "Authentic Taste of India" for dinner, getting a lamb biryani. It was pretty nice - I asked for hot and it was hot (actually too hot for me ... the problem when you don't know whether you'll get Indian hot or Australian hot). I would order from them again.

Thanks so much for going up Day Street West Albury, it brought back so many beautiful memories of Christmas Dinners at Gran and Poppy Brown's and all of my relatives who also lived in the street?

This is completely random. This showed up in my feed, started watching it for some unknown reason. At 11:49 I can recognize my family and I celebrating the birthday of my nephew. Uncanny.
