1864 - a while before 1877
When lots of Circassians and other Caucasians found their doom in the Black Sea, while being exiled from the Homeland (Xeku) to Ottoman Empire by russians during Russo-Caucasian war campaign.
Many people have drowned in this sea those days. Some elders don’t eat a fish from the Black Sea even now, in commemoration of this genocide.
We still remember.
It will never be forgotten.

This is so perfect….just found this channel, and you are truly an artist. He music itself is beautiful, but the fact that it’s directly inspired but the classical paintings in the video, and the added ambient sounds, it really just comes together in such a beautiful artistic vision. I love it. I know this comment will get a lot of hate, but Aivazovsky was a great Armenian-Ukrainian artist, and it's a pity people rarely mention that he spoke Ukrainian freely and viewed himself as Armenian. But I think his love for Feodosia and the lands he was in truly presents the particularity of his art. And yeah, I won't answer angry comments etc bc Internet is already a difficult place, and I'm here to spread love and at least some semblance of legacy and peace.
