Givonna Joseph, founder and artistic director of Opera Creole. Joseph will discuss an upcoming Historic New Orleans Collection concert that the music group is participating in along with the La. Philharmonic Orchestra. Featured on Steppin' Out will be an excerpt from a new documentary about the Louisiana Creole Language. Also appearing is artist Jamar Pierre, who is leading an effort to paint a mile of the Tchoupitoulas Street Floodwall along the Mississippi River in uptown New Orleans.
