That first bike has super old geometry on it, reminds me of early full suspensions

For those wondering, the first bike has dampers which gradually increase the resistance the more compressed they get which makes it slowly "brake" at the moment on impact and the second bike clearly doesn't have dampers. Although dampers smoothen your ride they make it almost impossible to do any kind of tricks with the bike.
