Ever go on a nostalgic trip and temporarily escape to better times, then suddenly you realize how much time has passed bit by bit and it's terrifying.

To this day after years of watching this, “You can do whatever you want you’re like 21” still never fails to make me laugh

"I said grandma, grandma! Can I go play in that cornfield?
She said 'You can do whatever you want. You're like 21.'"

This may be stupid as hell, but the cinematography is absolutely fantastic.

8 years ago today this was posted. A video and song that has truly stood the test of time. A lot has happened in those 8 years. I am like 21 now and can do whatever I want. And I want to go back in that cornfield today and celebrate Akbar. I want to listen and remember all those good times YouTube and this channel gave me. Thank you Julian.

9 years later and I’m still the only one I know who finds this weirdly emotional

Edit: 10 years later and I’ve finally found some people with the same feelings. This is happiness

In retrospect, he really captured the sound and mood of folk rock acts that were popular this time last decade — when we got stuff like Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, and Philip Phillips.

It's been 11 years, and it's still a better love story than Twilight.

If you ever think of underestimating Jefferey Dallas, just remember this; he ate a jellyfish and survived, something that is completely impossible for any mere mortal to do because of how much lightning they contain.

This is beautiful man, my buddy showed me this the other day. We were working beside a cornfield and we shed a tear for your lost friend brother <3

Movie: Akbar
Genre: Other
Length: 2:41
Review: Meet the extremely dumb yet surprisingly likable character Jeffery and join him on his excruciatingly painful walk through life as he finds friendship through the form of a corn named Akbar, and loses Akbar due to his vicious grandma (Probably influenced by Black Ops) who cooked him alive.
What will Jeffery do to get through his pain?
Sit through this tragic tear dropper to find out!
Movie Rating: Kinda Corny
