I have a friend who worked for them. They do distill alcohol, but not alcohol they make. It's imported from Indiana. They redistill it. He signed for the truck deliveries.

I have been inside the tito's site in Austin for trade meetings. I can tell you that they do have a copper it's a 1/20th scaled desk model that couldn't hold 4 cups of water.... but they do have one lol

I have always had a theory that some alcohol brands launch as a small company with great quality and once they blow up and sell out the quality goes down. Titos was that way when it first came out. And Espolon Tequila.
Anyone else have similar experiences?

around 2009-2010 they were caught dumping waste in austin, so at some point I'm guessing it has something to do with that. I've heard its mass produced somewhere in canada and bottled in austin.

I used to work at titos.. They gave us 2 bottles a week and a bag of veggies. Tito would come by often and drove around the site on his golf cart.

The handmade part is probably the single moment workers kinda sorta sort the potatoes as they come in looking for rotten ones.Thats probably the only by hand part done.

Live in bardstown ky. Worked for a private bourbon blender, and couple major distilleries. mGP makes almost all the "artisan" homemade, blah blah story on labels you see. And the major distillers trade/buy sell between each other all the time. Its crazy

Tito's buys its alcohol from a distillery in Debeque Iowa.. with corn from Illinois.
