The Dolan Master of Business Analytics - Fairfield University

The MS in Business Analytics at the Dolan School of Business provides cutting-edge knowledge and technology that arm students with distinctive skillsets important for analytical decision-making in a variety of organizations. The program introduces key statistical procedures and software that are most relevant to analysts, especially those wrestling with “big data” issues. Students gain exposure to EXCEL, SQL, R and Python, in order to collect, organize and ultimately analyze often complex and detailed information. With these tools in place, the MS BA student then moves on to application-based course work in data mining and big data analysis and management. The program’s over-arching goal is to properly prepare individuals for analytics-based positions in a variety of industries, including marketing, finance, accounting, healthcare, insurance to name a few.
