So very useful. You did what so many other random guides could not - simple breakdown, actually visible examples of the classes in action. *chef's kiss*

@Kroof fun watch, tons of great knowledge. This is my favorite video you have done in a few weeks as a healer main in every mmo I play was neat to see you go over each healer type with what roles and buffs they can offer. Terrific stuff :)

I love healing as Chrono. It is quite strong, and I love that I can switch between alac and quickness with just one change.

As someone who mained WHM in FFXIV I wish I could find a group to try this game with.

This is incredible 😊 I haven't played gw2 since HoT release and have come back for Janthir. As someone who favors healers, the range of styles and classes shown here are amazing! Thanks for putting them together

This is fantastic!!! Thank you so much. Would you be interested in covering how each healer reacts or preps for incoming burst damage? Like what’s the burstiest healing each class has and is capable of?

I want to add a bit about the barrier. It's not that common but if you're a class that use your hp as both second hp bar and resource like reaper or specter(?? idk I don't play thief) I love when I have barrier healer since barrier will take dmg before your hp so you wont get kick out of your shroud prematurely

As a thief main I would love to play Thief Healer more but allied targeting sucks balls. I really hope Anet would fix this, but I have not much hope.

I'm gonna keep spreading this meme healer build around: Heal DPS Virtuoso wearing Seraph and Celestial gears. It surprised me how LITTLE healing capability, boon providing capability and utility Mesmer has to sacrifice by picking the Virtuoso spec, and now its healing capability got supercharged with the addition of the rifle. Basically: Do the typical Virt DPS rotation with dagger/shield and deal 10k dps, average amount of passive heal and give loads of boons to your group just by doing the rotation, switch to rifle when burst heal is needed, then switch back and dps rotation. You'll need a qdps and adps in your group but that's no big deal. It's a meme build but the rifle made it viable. Try it.

If my favorite healers of all time are:

Stormblood Astrologian, White Mage (Shadowbringers/Endwalker) and Wow's Resto druid where do I fit in? I prefer more reactive heal styles reacting to things that have happened rather than proactive play styles.

Necromancer is my favorite flavor presented in the game but from this vid it sounds like the actual playstyle might not be what I'm looking for as barrier healers typically are more proactive than reactive? Maybe I'm wrong in this game since I had a hard time getting into it the first time I did.

To clarify if I had to rate my favorite healers from least to most it would go

3. White mage.
2. Resto Druid
1. Stormblood Astro.

Hey, thanks for the video. That's what I was looking for.
However, do you think you could do some kind of a follow up where you go into some details of builds that work?
Which weapons to use (if not obvious), which utility skills, how to specialize, and maybe also how to actually properly play it and pull it off.
I do know your older healer video where I believe you went a little more into detail at least. Thanks a lot!

I hate that alac/quick are required in order to play healer. Heal Vindicator is super fun to play. The messed up part is that Vindi has permanent self quickness, and they are tanky as all get out. It really plays like a Paladin Dragoon.

Thank you for the guide! No filler and well said!

My question is, how important is Healing Power? Is it worth investing into if I'm mostly gonna play solo? I honestly WANT to make a build based around Healing Power, but it seems... underwhelming.

Yay another healing video! I can't get enough of healing once I'd dipped my toes into it. In other MMOs, it always was super intimidating, but GW2 I find it to be super fun and rewarding, and also honestly not as scary to get into some sort of useful spot. Healbrand has been a main for me for a while (though I do feel the pain with the cone shaped stuff, especially when trying to keep up quickness), but chrono has been such a pleasant surprise for me, especially with rifle now. And even with a lot of the healing/boons being on the shatter mechanic, (and timing wells properly) it's not been too bad, and I'm nowhere near a mesmer main. I still tend to have difficulties with, for example, Vale Guardian greens, but the rifle really helps out filling the gaps in that case.

Heal scourge is now next on the list for me. I've already had so much fun on condi alac scourge, and the healing seems to be just as fun, though a bit different being more barrier heavy than pure healing power, something I might be a bit hesitant to bring right to raids, as I am also usually the tank. Something about having less direct healing power worries me about trying to fill both roles.

This is excellent; I enjoy your content in general but this was so helpful as I am looking to return to GW2 after many years away, and healing/support are what I enjoy. Can you share any comments about the specs which are low intensity in playstyle?

Do you happen to have a build link to share for each of these examples? I would love to compare the builds between the 2 options per class like Scourge vs Harb, or Chrono vs Mirage.
