Breakfast at Peggy Sue's 1950's Diner

I had breakfast at Peggy Sue's 1950's Diner. I drive by this diner every time I drive from Las Vegas into Southern California. On this day, I was craving pancakes and what better place to enjoy them! I really enjoyed the restaurant, the music and the ponds with dinosaurs in the back.

Thanks for bringing back the memories of the old diners, we had a few on Long Island and upstate NY that we’re from the 50’s and still that way in the 70’s

I love old school diners like this! I liked all the 50s memorabilia and that they have a gift shop inside as well. The food looked pretty tasty too! Great music for this video, as always!

not long before the pandemic we were on our way home from Knott's Berry Farm and stopped there. (we live in Las Vegas too) i had the Buddy Holly Bacon Cheeseburger and enjoyed it. the whole family enjoyed the stop and the food. been driving past the place for many years on our frequent trips to So Cal, (i was born and raised there) and finally decided to stop and try it. glad we did, and will repeat next time through.

NO Diane !!! You need to lift the pancakes and pour some syrup on each or else the top one soaks it all up !
The other dinosaur park you're thinking of is in Cabazon along the I-10.
I've been to Peggy Sue's many times but not in about 10 years. It is fun.

Great local flavor. The pizza is awesome. Right down the road is THE original Del Taco. Barstow Del Taco is better than the rest of the chain. I like the Bun Taco.
