3.7V to 12V led driver circuit | Simple boost converter

Hello friends, today in this video I've shown how to make a simple boost converter. This converter circuit boost voltage 3.7V to 12V.

Components required:-
1 x Indicator (from old fluorescent driver)
1 x D882 transistor
Insulated magnet wire
1 x 12V led
1 x 100 uf capacitor ( above 16v)
1 x 1N4007 diode

This is a joule thief circuit. It can deliver very little current. I think it could be better if a 0.5k resistor to the base of the transistor so it doesn't get too hot. Nice project btw.

Note:
If this doesn't work so reverse the polarity of Feedback winding, means if one wire is connected to transistor's base and another wire of Feedback winding is connected with Positive of the battery so you need to change the terminals of Feedback winding. Then it should work properly! Thanks.
