Roaches are never welcome guests, and calling a pest control service is one way to get rid of them. But that's a costly approach, and it lathers your house with chemicals. If you want to save money and avoid chemicals, here's a homemade roach killer that will get the job done. All you need to make this roach killer is borax and granulated or powdered sugar.
To make this natural roach killer - Mix up a batch of borax and sugar together in equal parts. Apply the mixture along the baseboards, in cracks, under cabinets, under sinks, and anywhere else that you've seen roaches invade your house. Reapply the mixture as needed until all the bugs are gone. If you prefer, you can put your roach killer outside in little containers instead of dusting the surfaces of your home with it. That'll mean less mess and less chance of coming into contact with it.
This remedy is very effective because Roaches consume the mixture because they are attracted to the sugar. Once consumed, the borax damages both their digestive system and their outer skeleton, resulting in death. This works very much like the boric acid found in commercial pest control products, but it costs a lot less.
There are several upsides to using this borax mixture to kill roaches. It's inexpensive, free of fumes, environmentally friendly, and fast-acting. And of course, you won't end up with a big bill from the pest control folks.
Here a few other tips that can help-
• You can also mix the borax with syrup or jelly. Obviously, you'll want to put your roach killer in some sort of container if you do.
• Remember to Store any unused portions in an air-tight container to maintain freshness. Be sure to label it so you don't forget what's inside or confuse it with something else.
• Depending on the size of the infestation, it might take a couple of weeks before you notice a significant decline in the population.
• Borax loses some of its effectiveness when it gets wet, so replace it as needed.
• This same mixture can also be used to kill ants.
Finally, You should keep this mixture away from children, pets, and food preparation areas. Only bait areas that your family and pets won't come into contact with. And Wear a mask when you apply the mixture and avoid inhaling it at all times.

I found that sugar is not needed and not to put bulks of it all around, the instructions say right on it to lightly dust it in dark warm places that roaches live. Roaches will ignore it and walk around it if it is to much. They will not care for any sugar and will ignore that also. Dust it everywhere in your house, all over in cabinets and draws and under appliances. Remember, Roaches love warm dark places so under coffee pots or makers, under stoves, behind your refrigerator. Remember, They will not go eat it, but they walk in it then they lick the dust from the feet and head. They always clean them selves. There like cats. So many people believe they will go strait to it and start eating it, no, you have to put it everywhere so they walk into it. Make it impossible not to walk into it. Then every roach in your house will be gone in a week, completely. This also takes care of future roaches as it always works. As long as you reapply it every 6 months, so lightly dust every 6 months to be roach free.

Boric Acid works by interfering with the roach's digestive system. In addition, the powder will cling to the outside of the roach, helping to kill other roaches when the affected roach returns to the colony. The powder is fast acting; insects coming into contact with the boric acid will die within 72 hours.

I've been doing this for years. If I see one, I put it behind the refrigerator, under the sink, under and behind the stove. Very effective stuff

Not all roaches like sugar, but peanut butter and borax is better, roaches and ants love it.

Just put boric acid and powdered sugar together put them both in Gatorade bottle cap put them in the corners for the cockroaches to eat. U can just lay the boric acid and powdered sugar together on the table corner but it will be messy so just put both boric acid and sugar in a Gatorade bottle cap and put them in corners or etc so the roach will eat.

Does this mixture rid of the roaches in the nests too?

Your title mentions boric acid yet your video says borax. The two are not the same. Boric acid is more effective than borax.

Don't do it by hand like you just saw! This stuff is technically deadly to you as well...
Exposure will generally leave you feeling sick if not washed off and not that you will be huffing it, it's easy for dust to aerosolize!
