I know for most of you foreigners this style of music is just interesting or unusual or something, but you have to understand that these songs have a lot of history and legacy to them. They mean a lot to us. Ukrainians sang these songs in the most terrible times of history. They suffered, they were attacked and occupied by so many countries throughout the history (hello, russia). Ukrainians are a strong and loving nation no matter what, and these songs kept them going. These songs are our legacy. Thank you Go_A for modernizing them and sharing them with the world, you are fantastic!

If Ukraine ever wins ESC again, I can recommend everyone to visit Kiev! I had a great ESC there a few years ago, Ukrainian people are very welcoming and the city has great scenery.
