Very cool - but sorry to hear it doesn't have aftertouch. Still, a major step in iPad integration, I would say.

I owned it and sold it ... i Couldn't get the fedback i was speaking about, and reading other users opionons on some forums, i'm not the only one who had this trouble ! The only controller that responds perfectly, from this point of view, is the behringer BCR 2000 :-) !!! The leds of its (infinite) rotary knobs and its buttons, always "follow" what is going on Your daw (Ableton Live, in my case) ... I will probably use a BCR in conjunction with a very simple(only keys) usb-master keyboard

Is the ipad now a more popular way to talk to a midi controller than a traditional PC/Mac/Laptop? It sure looks that way from how this was demo'd. I'm not being cheeky, I don't know, I just had this idea the ipad was more of a niche thing.

Don't want to be a spoil sport, but doesn't the new M-AUDIO Axiom Air have 16 drum pads too? Also released at Namm? A great keyboard nevertheless!

Is it SO HARD to make a master keyboard-usb controller with rotary encoder and buttons that have a "feedback" from the DAW you're using ... Let's consider the behringer bcr2000 (that lacks a keyboard, of course, it's just a controller) : its LED always show the value of the CC that the encoder (or button) is assigned to ... that's very useful playing with Ableton Live and other popular DAWs ... NO master keyboard has this feature .... WHY ?

Few are the ones who got the ipad intending to use it for music who actually uses it for music.. :) I bet most are doing this, watching youtube ;)

No Aftertouch and no Midi Out :( But other than that it looks awesome, I might include it into my live set but that missing Midi Out really makes it harder....
Also they should stop showing that freaking Ipad App and show more of the controller and also how it integrates into Ableton Live without Automap... Every video is just about that freaking Ipad App.
