What about the interesting fact that the sun is actually technically green... while it doesn't appear green to our vision, the type of photons it emits/ reflects are mostly green (hence the reason why plants that do photosynthesis are typically green) there's also something to do with our atmosphere and the way it diffuses light and not to mention the fact that the sun is so far away that it red shifts from green to a more yellowish white color by the time it reaches us... its hard to explain unless you understand the science behind it but its true and definitely interesting.

An interesting thing about the sun spots is that they look black on the sun but in reality they are as bright as a full moon. They look dark because the actual sun is so much brighter making the spots appear dark against the sun. If you took the sunspot out of the sun and put it in the night sky it would appear as bright as the full moon!

Other than geothermal energy, the sun provides all life on earth. Every time you eat a steak or a chicken breast, you are eating the energy of the sun. The sun provided the energy to plants with photosynthesis. Animals eat those plants. And humans eat those animals. If there is any deity to worship, it’s the Sun.
