I used the 5mm today. I wasn't even applying max pressure on the bolt. The wrench bent about 30°. I don't know if this particular wrench missed heat treating or if all the wrenches are like this. I'm not a young man and I've never seen anything like this. I don't even think regular 1018 steel is this soft.

The fit on the larger sizes in cheap sets usually is OK, but a tiny fastener, the tolerances really mater! Plus at the smaller sizes, if the fastener is really tight, the cheaper ones will just bend or even snap, where the quality ones will take the extra force needed (mostly)

I use nice metric T handle Bondhus hex keys in metric because those get used a bunch. My harbor freight imperial hex keys are for those "what kind of dingus designed this" moments.

I have a set of these from Lisle in sae and metric they are extremely strong I’ve beaten on them for years as an auto mechanic and have not broken any and they don’t break the bank although they do not have the ball end I feel like you can’t go wrong with these or Eklind they’re great as well

I think they would be perfect for the Guy's, and Gal's that are out there starting in there Professional Careers, and is saving on the dollar until they can afford, a better Quality of tool.

Yeah you can have them one of the boys got this and the ball end broke. I guess if you are not on rusty stuff putting New things together that aren't being tightened hard there okay. This is what you get from the mfg in a box to assemble what ever. For the wife I suppose for doing flower boxes little things definitely.
