Ever heard of saffron being grown in Singapore? A new facility run by Singapore start-up Singrow has made that a reality. Using agri-genomics technology, which alters the genome of a crop, farmers can now grow climate-resilient crops. Singrow has upgraded its facilities from its previous premises in Henderson. With the bigger space, it's expected to harvest 500kg of crops per month, or 30% more in crop yield and productivity.
