The Telluride is a much better three-row highway cruiser option than the large, thirsty body-on-frame SUVs. As long as you don't have to tow a bunch.

Great vid, I own the 2021 EX FWD we get 25 mpg combine and 30 on the highway at 70mph. I would recommend adding an oil catch can, because the engine is a GDI with a 13:1 compression ratio. You will collect about 20 mL per oil change. If you want to keep your engine clean and with solid performance, install the can.

I have real real world numbers. Just completed a road trip from the twin cities to Denver and back. I have a 2021 Telluride w/fwd. trip was after a fresh oil change and 14k on the clock. We drove 1844 miles. The mileage computer said we got 31.8 MPG. I did my own calculations and my average was lower, 29.867 MPG. Still pretty decent. Most driving was freeway and we drove at 70 to 80 MPH. On another occasion I towed my boat to northern Minnesota, weighs about a ton. I got 22MPG. Very pleased with that after getting 13 with my Suburban.

What kind of unleaded gas do you used? Is it 87, 89, or 91?

Nice useful Review ... Very Real. Did you do one like this with the new Acura MDX SH-AWD? I just tested a 2022 (it was a Front Wheel Drive - that's all the dealer All new cars are in very short supply). For the $$$$ a very nice, roomy, quiet SUV. I found it a bit Hesitant at a standing start, but the gears shifted smoothly. But leaving a driveway on my drive, I hit the gas, not that hard, and front wheels were WTF ??? I also recently tested a new Acura 2022 MDX, yes more $$$ but more refined and better handling vehicle. I know the Touch Pad is a Bummer, but after 20-30 minutes I stated to get used to it. The ELS Radio is absolutely Exceptional. IMHO, for the $50K price tag of the Telluride SX Prestige with AWD, that is a very good value for sure. But that Acura is WINKING AT ME ... I currently own a 2019 MDX Advance leased until June 2022, so I can wait I would like to see a Real World MPG test ...

Do you use regular gas? Mid or premium?

my 2017 sorento V6 AWD is rated 25mpg highway, but I regularly hit 32mpg driving around 75mph, even if i drive above 80mph I still get around 30mpg (on the computer, I've never actually measured at the pump 😂😂)

The *V6 ENGINE* in this vehicle is *_extremely and exceptionally SMOOTH, QUIET AND REFINED, _* compared to the TOYOTA HIGHLANDER which is the polar opposite: *_extremely NOISY, HARSH and UNREFINED._*
