How To Catch Gar

In this video I show how I would rig up to catch the smaller gar species (spotted, longnose and shortnose). I ended catching about 10 gar and a bowfin in the bayou this day. Thanks for watching!

Awesome video man. I love how you are respectful of the fish, so many people seem to hate these fish and I don't understand it. They are just amazing native species. Evolutionary powerhouses. Every big gar I've hooked into has always managed to get away. I'd like to start fishing for them so these are great tips.
