Prince Harry, Meghan want private celebration for baby's birth

Prince Harry and his pregnant wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, "look forward" to sharing the news of their baby's birth once they have had a chance to celebrate privately as a new family, according to a statement from Kensington Palace officials on Thursday.

Kudos to Christine Ross for not playing into the negativity surrounding the Sussexes decision. It is normal to keep it private. They limited media access to their wedding. They are being consistent by limiting media access to their baby reveal. I’d much rather see photos that they choose to release than to see baby blanket outside a hospital wing.

Something that began solely because Diana elected to give birth in a hospital is certainly *not* a royal tradition.

The mere idea of photography is relatively modern compared to a lineage that spans centuries. Two generations are not a royal tradition, just a choice.

Posing a day old infant outdoors on an April day in England isn't anything the world needs to happen. Give them their space.

Now that we have seen insights into both sides of Duchess Mehgans families, i think it is fair to assume why she wanted just her parents at her wedding. However, families know themselves more than outsiders so i hope people especially hypocrites would leave her and her family to live their lives in peace. THE DUCHESS has no sister or brother and the difference is clear. I hope she and Harry will give baby Sussex a brother or sister and she will not him or her to suffer like her. A sister or brother would have given mad Samantha and crazy Thomas Jr a run for their running.

When a ' couple ' have a baby, the celebration is instantaneous !
There's no need to get excitable, it's a very ordinary event .Babies are born every second of the day .
Just get realistic, if Royalty want the public to endure them, let them have a quick look at the infant and be done with it . End of.

You know, at 1st, I thought she should do whatever she wants, but she has held that bump for the entire 9 months, like she is the 1st woman to ever get pregnant and I guess so proud of that fact. Hopefully they will encourage the child to become gender fluid if it wants to express itself as it wishes. Maybe we'll see the first transgender member of the Royal Family! Wouldn't that be great! At the very least a Drag Queen or King would be a good start.
