There are 2 Lydian modes in Ascending Melodic Minor; Lydian Dominant and Lydian Augmented, none are called Super Lydian but you are explaining the Lydian Dominant in this video

Hi, this is also called "nordestina scale".
This scale is used in northeast of Brasil in folk rhythms of there like baião, forró, etc.

Hey there ! It appears that I have a different definition of this scale. Superlydian is NOT Lydian Dominant. Superlydian means a #5, not a b7. It is also called Lydian augmented, and is technically the Lydian melodic mode.

If "Superlocrian" refers to a Locrian b4, what I understand is that the prefix "super" means the colour of the mode is "emphasized", and NOT that we flatten the same specific note for every mode we want to add that prefix to :
- Locrian has a b5, then the b4 turns it "super";
- Lydian has a #4, then the #5 turns it "super";
- I may then consider the minor melodic scale can be named Superdorian since the #6 colour is emphasized by a #7 (= turn a Dorian natural into a Dorian melodic).

The "Ultralocrian" mode emphasizes the colour even more with a bb7 on top of a Superlocrian scale, which supports my approach of those prefixes.

Musically. ;)

I call it Mixo #11 scale, since I use it to solo over dominant chords.
In my country it's also called northeast scale.

That's not a superlydian scale. Superlydian is the inverse of superlocrian. It's the same intervals backwards. When you take a Locrian scale, there's one note that you can still flatten: the fourth. Then you have superlocrian. When you take a Lydian scale, there's one note that you can still sharpen: the fifth. Lydian #5 is superlydian.

You guys are too smart. I'm dumb. In my head, I'd just think of this as Bb major #4, but start from the "Re" (i.e. C).
