Even though I have scored 39 marks with those extra 3 marks, I think it was unfair to award 3 marks to everyone. There would be a group of students who did not spend any time on these 3 questions or some of these 3 questions and utilised their time to maximise the score in other questions. They are the ones who are getting unjustly benefitted by getting extra marks of up to 3 for a question / questions they did not even spend their time on. Hence, I think it would have been the fairest to award marks to any student who would have either attempted or spent above 30 sec on any of these 3 wrong questions.
