To the artist who doubts herself and her art.. (see description)

Over the years I wanted to quit SO MANY TIMES.
I’ve had art sales where NO ONE bought a thing.
I’ve gone months without selling anything at all.
I currently have about 15 unfinished paintings in my closet that I haven’t touched since the summer.
I have paintings from 5 years ago that will probably never find a home (and that I most likely will paint over).

If you’re someone like me, you’ve cried at night and thrown your paint brushes and questioned whether or not you’ve got what it takes…

You question why no one buys your art.

You question why you have such a hard time creating a painting you’re proud of.

You question if anyone even likes your artwork.

You may ask yourself a thousand times…“Why should I keep on going if no one cares about my art”?

Let me tell you, they care. Someone out there cares about what you’re doing. Someone out there looks forward to your content and seeing the art you create.

And if anyone doesn’t care, you don’t need them to.

You’re an artist because you’re meant to be an artist. It’s WHO YOU ARE. It’s your purpose. Your dream.

This purpose and dream is inside of you for a reason. It’s YOURS and only yours, and you don’t need the validation of anyone to keep on going.

The only one who needs to believe in you is YOU.
