What you see in this video is almost exactly what I saw at Silk Sonic’s residency in Vegas, except… the energy in the theater was unbelievable!! We saw John Legend’s show the night before and gave it a 10, but had to drop it to an 8 after our 777 experience! #BestShowEver and I’ve been to hundreds of concerts. 💯

I was lucky enough to see Silk Sonic last summer and it wasn't a show, it was an experience!!! The whole band played their hearts out and the whole building enjoyed every second of it. They sound phenomenal live. The arrangements, transitions, little snippets of other popular songs, everything felt flawless. The no phones policy forced everyone to be in the moment and honestly made the show more enjoyable. Everyone was focused on stage and dancing and grooving to the music.

Fav aspect is everything you mentioned: live mix on the drum sound, Bruno’s crazy execution especially with nuanced ad libs, Andy’s cool adlibs, bass always killin (I recall your reaction to 777 on Grammys), who I believe is Jamareo Artis, amazing smooth& rhythmically accurate but always poppin. Also like cool choreography while maintaining execution of vocal blends & especially unison. Ultimately though, it’s the sum of all their parts & their attention to detail, while making it look so fun, that makes it come across otherworldly or next level. Anyway, great reaction as usual! 👍

It is true that it is a presentation out of the ordinary, how they can transform into a single body and paradoxically maintaining their individuality, but when LizaQuin presents it, it is like being part of the whole, she interprets the music and all the staging with as much aesthetics as beauty, It's like I intuitively feel and think the same way Liza feels when she hosts the show, congratulations

Oh this has to be very close to my favorite live version they’ve done on any awards show! And if you haven’t, you ABSOLUTELY NEED TO SEE THEM IN VEGAS! Went last April and the entire show from vocals to music to performance was GRADE A! I don’t know if there’s another duo who is this good over together. It’s insanely amazing and I want a second album
