What I liked about my M50 is I could afford it and it's my first mirrorless. What I like less, is the selection of native lens. And back when you did the M50 video, I did see it. You helped me with this camera back when. Thanks.

I own the Nikon Z6ii but man I still love my Nikon D5500 and still use it to this day it's a very underrated camera IMO

I bought the Nikon D3500 2½ years ago, after watching Jared's review on it. It was my first camera, and I absolutely loved it. I got the 2 lens kit and added a 35 1.8 soon after. Although I now use a Sony A7IV, my trusty D3500 is still with me. I love using it whenever I want a lighter kit. Such a fun little camera. Sad to see it going off the market.

I have a d5600 as my starter camera. Loved it, noisy at times, but a great platform. I'm considering giving it to my daughter, but, still holding it as a backup.

I bought Nikon D3500 brandnew with 2 years warranty last month, and i fell inlove with the camera, and the Nikon brand, it's so sad for me, to hear, they discontinued the D3500.. 😔
But most important, Nikon brand is still manufacturing wonderful cameras. 😉 I hope soon, they would produce Nikon mirrorless camera with same price range with nikon D3500. I would love to buy that camera from Nikon.

I've had EOS M3 and M6 cameras, and those are superbly capable and compact, especially if you use the 22mm f/2 lens and don't install an EVF. I usually DO use an EVF, but it's nice to be able to pop it off and fit the camera into a jacket pocket- with lens attached- and have a second lens and spare battery (and maybe even the detached EVF...) in the other pocket too.

I fear you're right about the system's days being numbered, but that's still a shame as it fills a niche that'll be left under-served if it's gone.

I was driving to work today and heard an add for a local camera stores on the radio. I was a little shocked because I see camera adds like crazy online, but obviously those are targeted adds. This was on the radio going out to the world. The accessible entry level cameras are critical, and I'd love to see a $400 EOS R camera in the Line-up. Not for me, but to bring new people to the hobby.
The add pushed Nikon and the Z camera line, so Nikon was probably paying much of the cost vs the camera store but it was still great to hear.

I just bought a brand new d3400 for 280 with 2 lens and a nice bag off of OfferUp. First camera ever and I just watched your set up tutorial you made 5 years ago lol I’m in Estes Park out here in Colorado getting my first shots in thank you so much for your help bro. The D3000 was my first camera Back in 2010. Great tool.

The R100 is such an important camera to get right.
My very first DSLR was a Canon 1000D which was admittedly bottom of the barrel feature wise, it had the best Crop sensor of its generation right behind the 450D. If i would not have been able to buy that new for what was about 600$ at the time (w kit lens, bag, and tripod) i am not sure when or if i would have gotten serious about the photography the way I have. The entry level is just VERY important

I started shooting digital with a D3000 and loved it. Could not believe how many compliments I received about picture quality. Was almost too easy to use.

I hope Canon release it more for the budget users, and go for the longevity sales, rather than the smash and grab sales, as they and many others usually do .
