its sad how these beautiful creatures are visualized as monsters. (in Tv shows, movies, comics.etc) When I was a kid, I was always afraid of sharks, specifically the Great Whites. As I slowly start watching documentaries about these creatures I began to fall in love with them. I would love to one day see one in person. That would be amazing ❤

Ngl I used to be scared of sharks specifically Great Whites. The size of them, their presence but I also held great respect for them. Watching this video did show a different side to them that I think lots of people miss. Yes they are predators, yes they are big and yes they can eat you. But they are majestic and powerful and worth knowing about and above all: respecting. They are not malevolent monsters like one sees in movies. They are just living in the environment they are designed to live in. Who are we to call them monsters?

Thanks for this upload! This is really the way people should see sharks, and the way I think little kids should be introduced to sharks also- this is like 99% of what sharks do in their life, just swim around calmly and do shark things, and only eat something every couple of days when they need it. Most sharks will never bite anyone during their lifetime, and many sharks will never even see a human. It's unbelievable that all the sharks in my shark books when I was a little kid are all endangered now, that was only 30 years ago. I really hope they can start being seen with more respect like this, and that maybe it'll help with better fishing restrictions/equipment to keep them safer, and stop doing culls in the places where they've been doing that.

They're so cool and majestic, it's a shame that Jaws has inspired so much fear and hatred for such a graceful and curious marine predator. So nice to see great whites with such calm music!
