November on OperaVision

In November, OperaVision brings you four new streams which each touches on the inexorable march of time. National Theatre Brno streams live From the house of the dead & Glagolitic Mass; time passes slowly for the incarcerated but Janáček creates an electric atmosphere. Den Norske Opera Oslo streams Missy Mazzoli’s new opera The Listeners, taking us into another dimension with an all-consuming hum and the sound of a divided world. La Monnaie streams Der Rosenkavlier live from Brussels; here, the Marschallin has to accept that time cannot be stopped and she must set young love free. Finally, to I Teatri Reggio Emilia where time is remembered in music and movement with Double Side, a new dance creation by Alterballetto set to Pärt’s Stabat Mater.
